It has been forever and a day since I have put up anything. Here is one more collage I made. Once again, I'm not sure what I will be doing with it right now, but I love it.

And my knititng! Oh, my knitting. I've been so neglecting it. I'm sure it feels the pangs of separation that I do. I've just been so busy writing application essays and filling out paperwork for more scholarships.

At least this weekend will be a welcome reprieve. Lately, I've been much too busy. Too many late nights and early mornings. I'm so excited for Truman! I know there will be much lovely picture taking. Oh, the excitement!!!

Urgh. So sorry I haven't posted. I've been trying to do my homework and get my applications done. Still have the most important one left, so there won't be another post for probably a week. So here is something I did find some time to make. They were supposed to be Valentines, but I guess they will have to be really, really late I love you postcards to my best friends.

This place is the most beautiful in the world. I love my trails especially in the sunrise. I plan on being there this summer a whole lot. Can't wait!

I haven't much to write this evening. I'm really just busy working on homework. I'm hoping to do some collaging.

I love definitions. I very much want to buy a dictionary. Because of high school the only dictionary I own is in Spanish.

So here is a definition since words are an art form in their own way:

Collage: a form of art in which various materials such as photographs and pieces of paper or fabric are arranged and stuck to a backing.

And such a wonderful art form it is. This is one that one of my best friends made for me.

Welcome to this new blog!

I'm so very excited to be starting this! After much deliberation, I have named it "Mi Pastiche Originale." In other words, it is my original compilation of my own artwork. Pastiche itself means a compilation of artwork from various sources, and I can say for sure that I will post some of my inspiration from others here as well as my originals. Somedays I may post fashion, clothes, outfits, somedays knitting, somedays collages (made by me or my friends), and if i ever find the time and money for it, painting. I hope to post daily, but as a working wife and college student, that may not always be possible. But let's keep on the bright side and hope :)

PS. This may just become my photography blog as well.
